Probably obvious to most people, but....
- Don't stay on the floor to talk, leave the space for dancers
- If you like to indulge in extra turns, be mindful of other
(perhaps more sedate) dancers nearby
- Don't start an alternative dance unless there's room and it's
not disruptive to the majority
- If there are partner dancers about, leave the outside lane
clear for them
- Partner dancers should go around in an anti-clockwise direction
- On a crowded floor take small steps and watch out for
collisions
- Apologise if you bump into someone - even if it's not your
fault
- Start another line rather than join one that is already
over-populated
- If a dance has already started join from the edge of the floor
- don't barge into the middle
- Everyone was a beginner once - help others if you can
